I upgraded to the silenzio 55 from a Breville smart grinder pro, and boy, this grinder is a significant upgrade. My espresso shots have gotten so much better :)
The silenzio runs quieter, and the grinds are almost fluffier and more consistent. Dialling in with precision is really easy with the dial adjustment, and while I’ve read mixed reviews on its analog timer, I don’t mind it at all as I’m using a scale anyway, and it saves a few $$ from going to the digital timer on the higher specialita model. For $600 ish, it’s a really nice price point for a high quality flat burr grinder.

This is an excellent and well made grinder that is a tremendous value for its capabilities and price point. I've been getting excellent espresso grinding (no retention) with a 12-15 setting. Brewed coffee grinding with a 55-60 setting is also excellent. I'm hoping it's a solid machine for years to come.
