The DF64 Gen 2 is a 64mm single-dose grinder with a declumping exit, a stepless adjustment collar and near-zero retention. It is also one of the few grinders on the market that people buy specifically to change the burrs in. So we skipped the middle step. Pick your SSP set below and we build it before it ships.

Every set is genuine SSP, machined or cast in Korea, installed and alignment-checked in-house. The stock DF64 burrs are not included; you are buying the grinder with the SSP set fitted.

Which burr should you choose?

Espresso / High-Uniformity (HU)
The clarity burr. The tightest particle distribution SSP makes, with very few fines, which means high extraction, sharply separated flavours and a cup that tastes almost like filter coffee pulled short. Suited to light and medium roasts and modern espresso. It is the least forgiving set here: puck prep and distribution show up immediately, and dark roasts can read as thin. Espresso only.

Multi-Purpose V2 / Unimodal Espresso (MP)
The all-rounder. Keeps most of HU's cleanliness but puts body back in the cup, and it holds up across espresso through to filter. If you want one grinder that does a morning pourover and an afternoon double without swapping anything, this is the set.

Brew / Unimodal MPV1
Built for filter. Optimised for the coarser end of the range, covering pourover, immersion and batch brew, where its low fines production gives you a clean, fast-draining bed and a transparent cup. It will pull espresso at the coarse end, but that is not what it is for.

Multi-Purpose V3
SSP's revision of the MP geometry. Broadly the same brief as V2, espresso and brew from one set, with reports of a rounder, sweeter cup and slightly more texture, without giving up much
