Nuova Simonelli Appia Life - 2 Group - Compact Semi-Automatic Commercial Espresso Machine (Black)

The Appia Life Compact 2 Group Semi-Automatic fits two commercial groups into roughly 55 cm of counter width. It is the narrow-bar answer in Nuova Simonelli's most widely installed commercial line, with manual start-stop dosing and the same group architecture as the full-size machines.

What you get

• 7.5 L heat-exchange boiler: simultaneous brewing and steaming with recovery sized for two groups in steady service.
• Compact chassis: the depth and group spacing are trimmed, not the componentry. Two full commercial groups on a counter that cannot take a full-size machine.
• Soft Infusion System (SIS): progressive pre-infusion in the group that evens out tamping and distribution errors before full pressure hits the puck.
• Semi-automatic dosing: the barista starts and stops every shot, nothing programmed, nothing to drift.
• Push-pull steam levers: quick one-hand steam with flick purging.

Choosing within the Appia Life range

The Compact Semi-Automatic is the manual, space-saving option. The Compact Volumetric adds programmable doses in the same width. If counter space is not the constraint, the Full-Size 2 Group gives more working room between groups and a larger 11 L boiler.

Best suited to

Narrow bars, kiosks, food trucks and second stations where every centimetre of counter is contested but the coffee still needs to be commercial grade.
