I purchased the De’Longhi Dinamica Plus ECAM38085SB, and overall, my impressions are positive!
The machine brews delicious espresso and cappuccino. The interface is user-friendly, and the LatteCrema system creates excellent foam. Cleaning is convenient, with the drip tray and pitcher easy to rinse, and the built-in grinder with 13 settings allows me to adjust the grind to my liking. Over the first few days of use (since June 2025), everything has worked reliably, and the coffee taste is enjoyable, though the dark roast required a slightly coarser grind to reduce bitterness.
However, there’s a disappointment. The website and the seller (whom I personally asked during purchase) indicated that the model supports a mobile app and smartphone control. Unfortunately, once I got home, I found out this isn’t true- the app doesn’t connect, and there’s no remote control feature. This slightly dampened my experience, as I was looking forward to the convenience of phone-based adjustments. It’s disappointing that the information wasn’t accurate.
That said, I still recommend this machine to coffee lovers, but I suggest verifying details with the manufacturer before buying to avoid similar misunderstandings. I hope De’Longhi addresses this in future updates!
One more thing: I was delighted to receive a packet of coffee as a gift- it has an amazing aroma! However, when I opened it at home, I noticed the beans were oily, which isn’t ideal for this coffee machine as it could lead to clogging the grinder. I’ll need to be cautious with these beans.
