I admit, I have EK43 envy, but I can't afford an EK43, and even if I could, it is too big to fit on my kitchen counter. The CF64V checks ALL the boxes: vertical flat burr configuration for real low retention single dosing, bellows and chute tapper, standardized burr size for aftermarket burr upgrades, continuously variable grind size, variable speed motor, really quiet, compact and not bad looking in real life. The only thing missing is a hopper gate (like the EK43 and Philos). I understand it is discontinued in Canada (I bought a demonstrator). Too bad. As long as your CF64V lasts, you will never have to upgrade.

I love the MHW-3Bomber style steam jugs and I found 2 remaining on the site and they shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition.

When we first connected the machine at night and added the 2L water and figured we would try the next day we woke up to a major leak all over the cabinet and hard wood floor! We did the suggested first steps after the mess and all is good since. I find the waiting time in between each fonction a bit annoying compared to my old Breville espresso (waiting flashing light). More manipulation needed as far as setting each time (must change settings from coffee to steem/water by pressing buttons etc) but it will do! I prefer the milk result on this one than my previous Breville. I also had shipping issues at first (it said available and it was back order) but got good service from staff when contacted the store ans they made up for it with a lill extra! Thanks!
