I admit, I have EK43 envy, but I can't afford an EK43, and even if I could, it is too big to fit on my kitchen counter. The CF64V checks ALL the boxes: vertical flat burr configuration for real low retention single dosing, bellows and chute tapper, standardized burr size for aftermarket burr upgrades, continuously variable grind size, variable speed motor, really quiet, compact and not bad looking in real life. The only thing missing is a hopper gate (like the EK43 and Philos). I understand it is discontinued in Canada (I bought a demonstrator). Too bad. As long as your CF64V lasts, you will never have to upgrade.
