This was a big splurge, but happy I made it. I've owned a couple Delonghi super automatics in the past, liked them a lot. But this machine makes the same bean taste so much better. Have custom buttons setup on the main screen to make mine and my wife's coffees they way we each like them. Would recommend if you can justify the price difference to alternatives.

This grinder works very well for me for both espresso and French press. Two minor issues - the dosing cup has an extension collar (to avoid grounds flying all over the place) that is held in place by an o-ring, which is too small to hold the collar if you tip it over. Also, it’s advertised as stepless, but it’s not. Again, not a deal-breaker for an otherwise very good grinder.
