Coming off a Gaggia E24, using a bottomless portafilter with the same 22 gram VST basket and extracting about 50 grams, the taste is definitely more complex and refined. I simply left the temp at 199 F out of the box. I added a small amount of dark sugar and 2% non steamed milk. At 16 kl this is a substantial machine that weighs more than some pricier machines.
I did not use steam milk out of personal choice but expect it to work very well. The free tamper is great. Excellent price and fast delivery.
