The name Ethica is inspired by Spinoza's Ethica Ordine Geometrico Demonstrata. The philosopher explores our place in the grand scheme of things, and how we can attain inner freedom and happiness by aligning our actions with reason and virtue.
The name "Empire of Coffee" symbolizes the rich history and global influence of coffee as a unifying force. Just as empires connect diverse cultures, coffee fosters community and conversation. This name reflects our dedication to sourcing exceptional beans and celebrating the art of coffee-making, inviting all to enjoy the warmth and joy that coffee brings to life.

After a small learning curve, I am happy with this machine. It makes a very good espresso with nice foam. It has different way to adjust your brew - temperature and pressure. I have not deviated from the initial settings and the coffee is great.
We just purchased the Ascaso espresso maker and it’s amazing! It makes coffee and froths milk quickly.
