The duo v2 was the perfect machine for us. With its size, design, and power. Its been some time since I worked as a barista, but getting a home machine i had at least somewhat of a standard baseline for what i wanted. With a PID, ability to steam and pull shots, and overall ease of use its a wonderful machine.
There are some minor inconveniences that are really just preference and ease of use issues that i had personally, but overall pleased with this purchase.
Shipping was quick, but the packaging did come quite a bit battered and roughed up which i was scared damaged the machine.
Great Machine and even came with the US plug rather than the other. Only a couple weeks into using it but I love it.
Plenty of in-depth reviews on YT. So I'll just keep it short. The Ascaso Duo is worth the wait.
Beautiful design. Easy to use. Lets you pull consistent shots and steam milk at the same time. I was looking for a dual boiler, but decided to go for this instead due to way shorter heat up time (and aesthetics lol).
The only quirk is the mildly annoying pulsing sound the pump makes when you steam milk.
The machine can also run on a 15A circuit with the use of a cheap adapter, at the expense of slightly reduced steaming power.
