The Jura E8 has been the brand’s benchmark home machine for years, and the NAD generation is its most substantial rework yet — 27 one-touch specialities across three worlds of indulgence, an interchangeable CX3 milk spout, and Jura’s Sweet Foam system built in. In Piano Black, the high-gloss front and chrome detailing suit a dark or high-contrast kitchen, and at just 10.6" wide it fits under most upper cabinets without a fight.

What the NAD generation changes

Three things separate it from the E8 it replaces. Light Brew extracts at lower temperature and pressure for a brighter, tea-like cup from lighter roasts. Sweet Foam draws syrup through a dedicated attachment and folds it into the milk foam, rather than leaving it to sink to the bottom of the cup. And the CX3 spout swaps onto the HP3 milk system, so a flat white and a latte macchiato are each poured at the right height instead of splashing into a tall glass.

Where the coffee quality comes from

The P.A.G.2 precision grinder holds its setting across the life of the burrs, so the espresso you dial in this month still tastes the same next year. The Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P.®) pushes water through the puck in pulses rather than one continuous flow, lengthening contact time — which is what stops a ristretto or short espresso from a superautomatic tasting thin.
