Meraki 58mm Bottomless Portafilter

The Meraki 58mm Bottomless Portafilter strips away the spouts so you can watch the shot leave the basket exactly as it happens. It pairs a solid stainless steel body with a turned walnut handle, and it is the single cheapest way to find out what your puck prep is actually doing.

With a standard portafilter you only see the result. Bottomless, you see the cause: a spray from one side means an uneven tamp, a jet through the middle means channelling, early blonding means the grind is too coarse. Fix what you can see, and the shots get better fast.
