Nuova Simonelli Aurelia Wave 2 Group Semi-Automatic Commercial Espresso Machine

The Aurelia Wave is Nuova Simonelli's flagship commercial platform, the line that grew out of the machines used at the World Barista Championship. This is the semi-automatic version: two raised groups with start and stop under the barista's finger, no programmed volumes, on a chassis built for years of daily service.

What you get

• 14 L steam boiler: steam capacity sized for continuous milk drinks across two groups without pressure sag.
• Semi-automatic dosing: the barista starts and stops every shot. Nothing electronic sits between the button and the yield, which suits bars that dose and cut by scale.
• Raised group heads: clearance for takeaway cups and 12 oz glasses without a second dispensing position.
• Push-pull steam levers with cool-touch wands: one-hand operation, purge with a flick, and a wand that will not burn the person holding it.
• LED work lighting: the extraction is lit, so colour and flow are readable in a dim bar.

Choosing within the Aurelia Wave range

Semi-Automatic is the manual-control entry to the family. Volumetric adds programmable doses per group. Digit adds a display with shot timers and temperature setting. T3 gives each group independent temperature control of group, brew water and steam. If your baristas brew by weight and want full manual control, this is the one; if consistency across a rotating staff matters more, look at the Volumetric or Digit.

Best suited to

Specialty bars with experienced staff who weigh every shot, and training rooms where the machine should not make decisions for the student.

Special order, typically 6 to 12 weeks. 220V, dedicated circuit required. A water softening system is mandatory: scale damage is not covered under warranty. Available in Black, White or Red. EasyCream automatic milk-foaming wand available as a factory option.
