Nuova Simonelli MDXS Core On Demand Coffee Grinder (Black)

The MDXS Core is the timed-dosing version of Nuova Simonelli's MDXS commercial grinder: 65 mm flat burrs and a simple, robust timed interface, built for bars in the low-to-medium volume band that want commercial grind quality without a touchscreen.

What you get

• 65 mm flat burrs: the size class where grind consistency and speed meet for a single-machine bar, with burr life measured in hundreds of kilograms.
• Timed on-demand dosing: single and double doses set by grind time, dispensed fresh into the portafilter. No dosing chamber, no stale grounds.
• Core interface: the same grinding hardware as the MDXS Digit, controlled by simple timed settings instead of a touchscreen. Fewer things to learn, fewer things to break.
• Quiet operation: sound insulation designed for open bars where the grinder sits next to the customer.
• Stepless grind adjustment: fine enough resolution to dial espresso precisely as the coffee ages.

Core or Digit

Both run the same 65 mm burr set. The Digit adds a touchscreen with programmable profiles and costs more; the Core keeps the controls to timed doses. If one person dials the grinder each morning and everyone else just presses the button, the Core is the sensible buy.

Cafes and restaurants in the low-to-medium volume range pairing with an Appia Life or similar two-group machine.
