Quick Mill Elevate R – 5/5
I've owned several prosumer espresso machines over the years, including Profitec, Rocket, and Bezzera, and I can honestly say the Quick Mill Elevate R is the best espresso machine I've ever owned.
The electrically heated E61 group is a game changer. The machine is ready to brew and steam in about 10 minutes, and once it's at temperature, the thermal stability is exceptional. Shot after shot, the consistency is outstanding.
The rotary pump is whisper quiet, the dual boilers provide endless steam power, and the programmable pre-infusion gives you the flexibility to get the best from different coffees. It has all the performance I could ask for.
One feature I've come to appreciate every day is the traditional steam and hot water valves. I actually prefer them over joystick controls. The smooth, progressive action and the satisfying feel when opening and closing the valves make every interaction enjoyable.
The touchscreen is responsive, easy to navigate, and includes all the features that matter without feeling overly complicated.
Another pleasant surprise is the internal layout. Everything is neatly organized with easy access if maintenance is ever required. It really feels like a machine designed by people who understand that these machines should be serviceable for many years.
Despite being a dual-boiler rotary machine, the Elevate R has a compact footprint and fits beautifully on the counter.
The fit and finish are very good. I would still give a slight edge to Profitec, ECM, and perhaps Rocket for exterior refinement, but the difference is small. Once you start using the Elevate R, its engineering, fast warm-up, outstanding thermal stability, quiet operation, and thoughtful features easily outweigh that minor difference.
I also want to recognize the outstanding customer service from Kitchen Barista. Taha and Vagif were knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy. It's reassuring to know that if you ever need assistance, there's a team you can truly rely on. That level of personal service is becoming increasingly rare and deserves recognition.
Overall, the Quick Mill Elevate R combines classic Italian espresso tradition with modern engineering better than any machine I've owned. It's quiet, incredibly stable, easy to use, easy to maintain, and simply a joy to live with every day.
